Join me for a Yin Yoga class on Saturdays, a slow, soothing, and meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, fascia and ligaments in the body. It also focuses on stretching and stimulating different acupressure points from Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Yin yoga can complement an already active life or help those who feel distracted by “mind chatter”. Constantly emailing, texting and posting social media updates has led, for some, to mental overload and a feeling that we are not good enough or achieving enough. Yin yoga can provide an antidote to this.
You can join as a one-off or every week, it is entirely up to you. Expect slow, deep stretches and meditation that balances and strengthens the body, mind, and spirit.
WHAT TO WEAR:
* Unlike other forms of yoga you won't generate heat internally during Yin. This means you should wear layers to keep warm – cosy sweaters, long-sleeved tees, and soft, snuggly socks.
This is a 1 hour class, perfect for all levels and ages and everyone is welcome to participate.
